A failure to consistently follow best practice guidelines can lead to a perception of unfairness, or indeed legal action. In this one day course the emphasis is on the use of discussion and practical exercises to help you understand the principles involved in conducting fair investigations and the making of sound disciplinary decisions. You will cover key techniques, procedures and checklists to help ensure that you are considering all the critical factors and that you undertake the process in a fair and unbiased manner. You will develop a valuable understanding of what the law requires and will learn key skills in the disciplinary process, such as analysis of evidence and report writing.
