    Job title: Our Methilhill project worker
    Salary: £9 per hour on a self-employed basis Hours 15 hours per week, initially on a self employed basis until Oct 2018
    Hours include Fridays and Saturdays

    During 2015 MCCI worked with the wider community and the Coalfields Regeneration Trust to complete their Community Futures programme which involved a community wide consultation and the development of a 5 year community action plan. The plan includes numerous priorities including community floral enhancement, the creation of community allotments and a communal growing space, tackling a lack of local facilities and promoting community spirit.

    The tasks of the project worker is to take forward the community action plan by; Creating better community cohesion Creating local opportunities Creating a local skills database Developing the Our Methilhill website. Meeting the aims of the local action plan as identified by the local community working with the local community, young and old including the delivery of workshops. Work will include working in an outdoors environment.

    Excellent team working skills and communication are vital.
