    Post: Parenting Development Worker
    Hours: 35 hours per week
    Salary:  £20,238.40

    A vacancy has arisen for a Parenting Development Worker as part of a new project within our Children’s Services. You will provide advice, guidance and support which will contribute and enhance the parenting capacity of parents/caregivers in the Kirkcaldy area.

    You will have a minimum of 3 years working experience supporting parents/carers with their parenting capacity and of group work with adults as well as experience of the Birth to 3 curriculum.

    You will be expected to have a HNC/D in Early Years or HNC/D in Childcare and Education or SNNEB and/or SVQ 3 Children’s Care, Learning and Development/Children and Young People and a recognised Professional Parenting training certification e.g. Mellow Parenting, Solihull.

    The post will require a satisfactory PVG check and two references.
