    Created: 21/09/2017
    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 6.00pm-8.00pm, Saturday 07 October 2017
Where: Beveridge Park, Abbotshall Road, Kirkcaldy
This event is being organised by Greener Kirkcaldy

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Join Greener Kirkclady on a walk around Beveridge Park, searching for one of their favourite nocturnal animals - bats! Local expert Tony Wilson will point out habitats perfect for bats, and what signs to look for. Bats are present all around us, but we seldom see them and often have fears about their secret lives! They are actually a useful and fascinating part of our world, eating tons of midges every night. Many species are also under threat - they'll talk about what you can do to help them. The walk is free, family-friendly and open to all ages.

Please wear suitable footwear and dress with the Scottish weather in mind. You might want to bring a torch if you have one! Booking is required as spaces are limited. For more information and to book your place please visist their their website.
