    Post: Self Help Coach

    Hours: Full-Time post: 37.5 per week, Part-Time post: 18.75 per week

    Salary: £20,147 - £23,754 per annum (pro rata for part-time post) 

    LinkLiving's Self Help Coaches support people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, low mood and stress.

    The support they provide includes:

    • Enabling people to recognise, understand and manage their symptoms;
    • Helping people to recognise and take the steps they need to take to maintain good mental health;
    • Equipping people to use self help approaches and resources which enable them to have greater control over their health and wellbeing;
    • Introducing people to additional specialist sources of support;
    • Supporting people to develop good personal networks and stronger connections with their community;
    • Their Self Help Coaches are based at West Bridge Mill in Kirkcaldy. They engage with the people they support in this base and in a range of community facilities across Fife.
