It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

The Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conferencing (MARAC) process allows agencies to share information about very high risk cases of domestic abuse and together agree a Risk Management Plan (RMP). Whatever service/ organisation you work in, you will be in contact with victims of domestic abuse. Victims need frontline staff to have an excellent understanding of risk in relation to domestic abuse. Domestic abuse is complex and requires a robust multi-agency response.

Through the sharing of information and expertise, the MARAC process enhances the safety of the individuals at highest risk of further abuse.

    The target audience:

    • NHS Services (Public Health, Mental Health, Midwifery, Addiction, GPs, School Nurses)
    • Education (all early years and school staff, Family and Community Support Team (FACST) and Educational Psychology)
    • Housing Services including all Housing staff, Local Office staff and Housing Associations
    • Police (local officers, and Families and Criminal Justice Services)
    • Third Sector organisations including Fife Women's Aid, child and family support agencies, sexual abuse agencies, drug and alcohol support agencies.
