Equal Voice - Citizen Advocacy Development Worker x 2

Hours: 18 per week
Salary: £22,257-£24,000 pro rata
Equal Voice are looking for 2 part-time Citizen Advocacy Development Workers who are community orientated, with a strong desire to support existing Advocacy Partnerships and inspire local people to become advocates for vulnerable people in Central Fife with learning disability, physical disability or a mental health difficulty which impacts on their ability to look after their own affairs. Both posts are based in Central Fife and are funded by The Big Lottery for five years until November 2022.
Post 1 - Citizen Advocacy Development Worker (Young People's Project). The post holder will develop and expand their project for people aged 16 to 25 with learning disability, physical disability or a mental health difficulty which makes them unable to look after their own affairs, within both the Central Fife, learning and community setting.
Post 2 - Citizen Advocacy Development Worker. To develop and expand their existing project working with vulnerable adults 16-65 with learning disability, physical disability or a mental health difficulty which impacts on their ability to look after their own affairs.
