Deaf Action - Employability Advisor

Deaf Action's Employability Service has been running since January 2016 and they are now seeking an additional person to join their busy team. Working area will cover Edinburgh and Lothian and Fife (Tayside occasionally) Office base: Edinburgh or Kirkcaldy to suit successful applicant. The post is currently funded until December 2019.
This role is both interesting and varied and you would work in close co-operation with colleagues in the team. Key aspects of the role are to support and develop unemployed deaf adults aged 25+ to gain employability skills through the delivery of high quality person-centre support including 1-1 work and delivering employability workshops. The emphasis on this post is working with Deafened/HOH people, however working with deaf people may also be required depending on the needs of the service.
