It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.2018 marks the 70 Birthday of Glenrothes, a distinctive year to recognise and celebrate together.
Go Glenrothes are hosting a community event to discuss how this can be celebrated. This will also include looking at what community groups and charities are doing to celebrate locally in their own areas of the town.
On the day you are invited to bring a small display about your organisation along to the event, letting other groups and members of the public see what you do as an organisation, and potentially discuss how you may be able to work with other groups on similar projects and objectives. There are a great number of groups in Glenrothes, but often not always known to each other, this is a chance for organisations and groups to make sure they are visible and ensure everyone can find out what they are doing.
As well as this, participants will also have the opportunity to have a say on what the celebrations in 2018 will look like, raise any highlights about things in the Glenrothes community that need attention, and perhaps even pick up some new volunteers or members.
This is a completely free event, bringing the community together for the benefit of everyone. "It is your town, you have the opportunity to say what is done in it!".
