RNIB are looking for a Children's Services development assistant to join their children’s services team. The applicant must be flexible as they may be required to work occasional evenings and/or Saturdays.
They are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual in this development role who can provide a wide range of practical, creative and organisational skills which will be essential when working on our various children’s projects. These will include working directly with visually impaired children with additional and complex needs and their families in the community. You will be working alongside health and social care professionals and other organisations, building and sustaining positive relationships.
You will support the members of the children’s services team in assisting with delivery of sensory story sessions, play sessions and organising and delivering RNIB events throughout Fife. You will be responsible for ordering and delivery of sensory toys and equipment across Fife in the home and childcare settings. Excellent skills in administration will be required with experience of Microsoft office as this will be an essential part of this role.
