Hayfield Community Centre is a busy resource for the local community, newly refurbished to provide a bright, airy, pleasant facility open every day for use by a large range of groups and classes. The attached Community Garden has been developed over the past two years and a Garden Project is in operation, with its own part-time Supervisor. The Centre is run by a voluntary committee of local people, charity trustees of Hayfield Community Centre Management (HCCM), a Scottish Community Incorporated organization (SCIO), working to benefit local people of all ages and managing opportunities for healthy social, leisure and community activities in the Centre. After a period of exciting growth in its services, Hayfield Community Centre Management are now seeking a Cleaner/Caretaker to provide a high standard of maintenance in their lovely building for all the groups using it, including enabling access on occasions at weekends, mainly for children's birthday parties.
