    Post:  Growing Worker
    Hours: 20 hours per week, 18 month project commencing 1st March 2018
    Salary: £9,000 per annum

    Reporting directly to the Growing Manager, the Growing Worker will assist in developing the new community growing space in Methil and in other growing sites and opportunities around Methil and Buckhaven.   This will involve working both independently but also regular sessions working with volunteers, local groups and agencies.  The growing aspect is a key element of the Communities project from 01March 2018 to 31 August 2019.  

    The successful candidate will possess good practical knowledge and experience in gardening or related work, demonstrate the ability to work with volunteers of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, be able to work flexible and resolve challenges and problems as they arise, and be part in maintaining excellent relations in a staff team.

    Ideally the candidate should live relatively locally within Levenmouth or central Fife. Working hours can be agreed but should involve three core days between Tuesday to Fridays each week. Occasional work at weekends will be expected.
