Learn all there is to know about growing your own soft fruit. It's easy to grow delicious, soft fruit and you don't need lots of space. You can grow strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, gooseberries and more at home. They'll look at a selection of fruit bushes, plants and trees and discuss where, when and how to plant, prune and care for your fruit so that you can get a healthy crop year after year. They will be indoors for part of the workshop and outdoors doing some practical tasks.

This workshop will be led by expert fruit grower Andrew Lear, also know as Appletreeman. Andrew advises on the best fruit to grow in the Scottish climate to a range of growers all over the country. The workshop is suitable for beginners and those who would like to learn a bit more about growing their own soft fruit. No equipment is needed but you might want to bring your own gardening gloves. Please dress according to the weather and wear shoes suitable for being outdoors.
