Volunteers are the first contact for clients seeking help for their varied problems. They identify key information about the client's problem/s, assess and agree, with support, the next level of service, taking into account the individual needs of the client.

Training will take place over two days in February 2018, with the addition of practical sessions in the office. Dates have still to be finalised.

Yes - Public transport or 45p per mile for cars.
Good computer and literacy skills are important . However mostly we need people who can be a good listener and work well in a team. You should be able to quickly sift through information and extract critical details and communicate information clearly. Being open-minded and able to maintain confidentiality is vital.
