    Opportunity

About this opportunity:The Scottish Fisheries Museum welcomes visitors from around the world to see our fantastic collection of objects and archives telling the story of our fishing communities. We would like to convey our stories to these visitors in their own language - and this is where we are looking for volunteers.

The guidebook covers each room in turn, explaining our key themes and describing some of the most important objects on show. While visiting the museum to see and learn from our displays would be an advantage, the majority of this task could be done from home.

This would be a good way for a language learner/dual speaker to learn about our history and extend their vocabulary while making a real difference to the experience of our non-English speaking visitors.
