  • Community Justice Forum

    Created: 3/10/2020

The theme for the next Forum is ‘the darker side of the web’. We live in a world where, increasingly, we are reliant on technology to carry out everyday tasks such as communicate with friends and family, shop for goods and services and indeed do our jobs.

At times, the technology we all take for granted can be used for illegitimate reasons; cybercriminals can target vulnerable people and organisations, or the internet can be used to carry out immoral/illegal activities. We’ll hear from a range of speakers on these issues and you’ll be able to find out how to keep staff, volunteers and service users safe.

A select few third sector organisations work specifically in the field of online protection, but the vast majority will use technology to deliver their services. Online safety is of interest to everyone, so don’t delay and sign-up today!

This Forum will be of particular interest to those supporting vulnerable people, either at home or in the community. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a lively and informative session. As always, there will be the chance to provide service updates and ask our speakers questions.

Our Forum is open to any third sector organisation working within Fife.  We allow several places to public sector colleagues too (get in touch for more information).
