    The Women’s Fund for Scotland (WFS) makes unrestricted grants to projects across Scotland that support women’s development, self-sufficiency and social and economic equality. It makes grants across six key themes:

    1. Building skills and confidence
    2. Improving health and well-being
    3. Growing social connections
    4. Moving on from abuse
    5. Developing leadership and innovation
    6. Combating poverty and building financial resilience

    The Fund supports women’s organisations, especially those run by and for women, community-based organisations running projects with women and girls, and projects supporting disadvantaged women and girls.

    Who can apply

    Properly constituted organisations may apply, including charities, social enterpises and unincorporated organisations.

    Organisations with an annual turnover of more than £500,000 are not eligible for funding. If oversubscribed, they will give priority consideration to organisations with an annual turnover not greater than £300,000.
