Do you have a passion for communities to be the drivers of change? The Corra Foundation and the University of Glasgow are bringing the Activate Community Course to Methil during Spring 2023 for interested community members (17+).

Activate is a way of developing community capacity by giving participants the opportunity to reflect on their practice in the light of basic community work values and principles. It builds on the experience of those who work in the community, in either a paid or unpaid capacity.

The teaching and learning are informal and participative and yet challenges participants to think more deeply about the work they are doing and how they can contribute to the development of their community.

An information session about the course is occurring at 18:00 on Thursday 02 February 2023 at Methilhill Bowling Club, Main St, Leven KY8 2DP. Come along to ask questions, meet community folks, have some food and a cuppa and hear about the course from the University of Glasgow.
