Wellbeing on Wheels is a drop-in mental health support service on board a bus
Created: 4/10/2023Samh's new Wellbeing on Wheels service is open to anyone over 16, with no appointment or referral required. Wellbeing on Wheels offers peer-led support from SAMH peer workers, who have their own experience of mental health issues and recovery.
The team brings informal, non-judgemental support directly into the heart of communities, offering you information, tools and resources to help self-manage your mental health and wellbeing. This may include support with:
low mood or wellbeing
low confidence levels
feeling isolated or disconnected from your community
coping with mental health challenges
knowing where to seek further support
Where to find the team:
The bus makes regular pit stops in Dundee and throughout Angus, servicing the local communities of Brechin, Arbroath, and Kirriemuir.
