The Triangle Trust 1949 Trust - Young Offender Grants
Created: 4/19/2023, Updated: 4/21/2023The Triangle Trust 1949 Trust's Young Offender Grants supports projects that work with young people with criminal convictions and those who are at high risk of committing a first offence. In 2023, the organisation will fund work that uses a Sport for Development approach to reduce reoffending and first offence rates.
The fund runs two grant rounds each year – one for work supporting young people with a criminal conviction on their record and one for those considered high-risk and on the edge of the criminal justice system.
Funding can only be used to work with young offenders- even if your organisation works with vulnerable young people more broadly. The Trust will prioritise proposals that provide specialist support to target:
Who can apply
All organisations must be working in the UK with a UK office and an annual income of less than £1 million to be eligible to apply.
How to apply
A two-stage application process involves an online application followed by an assessment visit. Full details are available via the Trust's website.
When to apply
Applications close at midnight on 21 May 2023. This round focuses on organisations working with young people with criminal convictions.
Assessment visits for shortlisted applicants will take place from July onwards, with final decisions in October 2023.
The next round focused on organisations working with high-risk young people on the edge of the criminal justice system and opens on 18 September 2023.
