  • Firstport - Advice for growing Social Enterprises

    Firstport would like to invite you and your colleagues to attend an Advice for Advisors session on Tuesday 23 May at 2.00pm.  Firstport aim to provide information that will support individuals interested in starting or growing a social enterprise.

    At this session you can learn more about the funding and support Firstport offers. The session will include information about deadlines and programmes to watch in the coming months, plus a Q+A.

    Funding opportunities include:

    • Pounds for Purpose - £500 for  individuals aged 16-26 looking to address social issues that matter to them;
    • Start it - up to £5000 for individuals looking to start a social enterprise;
    • Social Innovation Challenge - up to £50,000 for projects addressing pressing challenges.  The theme changes yearly, this year's fund concentrates on the Cost of Living Crisis.  Deadline for application is 31 July 2023.  Find out more here.
