    Holyrood Insight’s will host a fee-paying conference in June in Edinburgh - Women at Work Scotland - a conference focussing on solutions to ensure better representation of women in senior roles. 

    Attendance fee is discounted for registered charities at - £250 plus VAT.

    Chaired by Bayile Adeoti, President of Scottish Women in Business, participants will hear from award-winning organisations and network with colleagues from across Scotland.

    This CPD accredited event will address how to tackle the barriers that women face at the managerial, director and board levels.

    Discussion and learning will include:

    • Gain practical insights from leading organisations including PWC, Deloitte, Womens Enterprise Scotland, and Business in the Community who are paving the way for increasing female representation at the executive level;
    • Hear from Founder & Director of SHE Scotland, Karen Anderson, as we discuss initiatives to encourage women to put themselves forward for senior positions;
    • How can we make sure women aren’t leaving the workplace prematurely? Heather Currie MBE, Clinical Advisor to the Scottish Government’s Women’s Health Plan, will explore women’s health conditions, such as the menopause, and the connection to retention of women in the workplace;
    • With 46% of the women who were made redundant during the pandemic claiming this was due to inadequate childcare, learn how you can support truly flexible work. Nikki Slowey, Director & Co-Founder of Flexibility Works, will explore how to cater to women and their needs, ensuring women can progress, whatever their caring responsibilities.
