Modern Apprenticeship starts are at their highest ever level, sitting at around 39,000. More than 25,000 jobs were created by Scottish employers since 2022, exceeding Scottish Government ambition and bringing apprenticeship job creation to near pre-pandemic levels.
Recent statistics published by Skills Development Scotland show that there were 25,447 Modern Apprenticeship starts from April 2022 – March 2023.
