  • Invitation to Fife's Joint Employability, Health and Social Care Forum

    Created: 1/26/2017

    When: 9.30am - 12.30pm , Wednesday 08 February 2017
    Where: Rothes Halls, Glenrothes, KY7 5NX
    This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action

    It's been three years since we last brought together Fife's Employability and Third Sector Health and Social Care Forums.

    We're excited to bring these two dynamic agendas together once again to explore and improve understanding of the co-relationship between health and employment outcomes.

    Come along to:

    • Hear from Francis Stuart, Research and Policy Adviser, Oxfam Scotland who will share learning from the excellent Decent Work for Scotland’s Low Paid Workers Report;
    • Build awareness of the relationship between Health Inequalities and work with Fife's Health and Wellbeing Alliance;
    • Hear from Adrian Martin, DWP on the UK Government's Consultation on Employability, Health and Disabilities;
    • Get the latest on Fife's mental health and employability targets; and
    • Explore how we can think and work differently together and what this could look like.

    With such a packed agenda this event is not to be missed so make sure you book your place to avoid disappointment.
