  • Social entrepreneurs sought for Good Ideas Academy

    Created: 7/27/2017

The Melting Pot's annual Good Ideas Academy is returning, offering support to those looking to turn ideas into social enterprises, charities or campaigns.

The Edinburgh social enterprise is calling for budding entrepreneurs, social innovators or anyone with a good idea to get in touch to be part of a Good Ideas Academy. It will take place over two intensive weekend camps on 4-5 November and 18-19 November.

In the true spirit of social innovation, the ‘Good Ideas Academy’ attracts a wonderfully diverse range of people and projects. All are united in a vision and passion to find a better way to help society fulfil its potential. Participants range from those with a ‘good clear idea’ to those with emerging non-profit organisations.

This year they are particularly interested in ideas that: use a creative approach to improving people’s lives; have been inspired by personal experience of a particular problem or issue. But whatever your idea, if positive social impact is at its heart then they'd like to hear from you.
