  • National Centre for Resilience - Community Council Fund

    Created: 07/11/2023
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

National Centre for Resilience (NCR) is currently hosted by the University of Glasgow. Their Community Council Fund is a new grant call for the financial year 2024-25.

NCR is dedicated to building resilient communities across Scotland. They recognise that community-driven efforts are essential in addressing the challenges posed by natural hazards and their resulting disruptions.

Through this funding initiative, the NCR aims to support Scottish Community Councils by providing funding to develop local resilience plans that address potential natural hazards such as heavy snow, landslides, high winds, and other disruptive events and subsequently enhance their local community preparedness and response to natural hazards.

The grants are open to Scottish Community Councils.

Grants of up to £500 are available.

Click here for full grant details, guidance, and an application form.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 31 January 2024.
