This workshop will equip trainers with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and resources to discuss and promote the importance of increasing positivity of mental wellbeing with others.
Learner Outcomes
By the end of this course participants will have:
- The knowledge and skills to be able to deliver the Positive Steps to increase mental wellbeing workshop
- Access to step-by-step facilitator guidance on the delivery of the Positive Steps to increase mental wellbeing workshop
- Various tools and techniques to enable successful digital delivery of the Positive Steps to increase mental wellbeing workshop
- The ability to identify what individuals, professionals, and services can do to increase mental wellbeing and be able to accommodate the needs of different audiences
- Guidance and information on clear pathways for delivery and how to gain support from other trainers
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at trainers with an interest in supporting the Fife workforce across all sectors in improving mental wellbeing.
Trainer criteria: All trainers must have attended the 1.5 hours Positive steps to increase mental wellbeing workshop and have experience of digital delivery. All successful trainers will be expected to deliver two positive steps to increase mental wellbeing workshops in a 12 month period, at least one of these must be through the Health Promotion Training Programme.
