  • Urgent Community meeting - Kirkcaldy Food bank to cease activities in Burntisland

    Created: 30/01/2024
    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 7.30-8.30, Monday 12 February 2024
Where: Burntisland Parish Church, East Leven Street, Burntisland, KY3 9DX

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

For the past nine years the Kirkcaldy Food Bank has provided food assistance to those in need in Burntisland. With the cost of living rising to crisis levels the need for this assistance has increased dramatically, and the Board of Directors of the Kirkcaldy Food Bank has had to make the decision to concentrate its efforts within Kirkcaldy and terminate its activities in Burntisland by July.

It is therefore essential that local organisation starts immediately. Many families in Burntisland and Kinghorn are struggling and depend upon assistance.

Everyone is invited to a meeting to share ideas and discuss how this may be accomplished.
