SCVO (Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations) recognise that simply transitioning everything from the office to a virtual space is no longer enough and that the hybrid work place has now become the norm for many of us.

This transition has inadvertently had a negative impact on our mental wellbeing. Issues like staff stress, burnout, an incessant sense of always being on, and the blurring of boundaries between work and personal life have left us feeling drained, and in many ways still grappling with the aftermath of the pandemic.

Nonetheless, there are tangible steps we can take today to restore balance and cultivate contented, healthy hybrid workplaces.

    Overall aim

This masterclass aims to support your organisation to:

    • Understand what digital wellbeing is
    • Explore the impact of digital technology on employee work-related stress and burnout
    • Understand how we can support digital wellbeing at work

    Description

The workshops includes ideology, methodologies, frameworks, and tools from the tech sector to empower the voluntary sector. The aim is to enable the sector to seamlessly integrate digital practices as a fundamental core capability, rather than treating them as exceptional tools for rare circumstances. This support extends to voluntary sector organisations of all sizes, ensuring they can consistently deliver high quality digital services.

Who is the event aimed at?

Anyone working in the voluntary sector.
