Join this session all about autism and support at school. Enquire is excited to be working with Scottish Autism to present this joint session, which will focus on learners with autism and their rights to support at school.
Children and young people with autism face particular challenges at school, and have a range of needs that may need support. They want to share advice and information on about support at school, so families feel more confident in working with schools to get the right support in place.
In this session, they’ll be talking about:
- Children’s rights to additional support for learning
- The ways that autism can impact on children’s time at school, and how schools can support these needs
- Advice for working with schools to plan support that works for children’s individual needs
This session is aimed at parents and carers of children with autism but will be valuable for anyone working with autistic children and their families.
