Trefoil exists to support the development of children and young people with additional needs in Scotland, to enable them to maximise their capabilities and achieve as much independence as possible.
Trefoil assists individuals, families or small groups who meet their criteria for development needs. Trefoil support a wide variety of applications but with a broad focus on sport, art, music, life skills and adventure. The following grants and funding are currently open:
Organisational Grants
Trefoil may support main core funding to organisations whose aims and objectives comply with Trefoil’s objects. Applications are currently open. The deadline for the next round of funding will be Friday 23 August 2024.
Personal Development Grants
Trefoil offers Personal Development Grants to young people under the age of 25 years with additional needs which may be psycho/social or of a physical nature which impacts upon their development. Applications are currently open. The deadline for the next round of funding will be Friday 03 May 2024.
Lilias Finlay Holiday Fund
Trefoil offers holiday grants to individuals, families or small groups who meet their criteria for development needs. Applications for holiday grants are currently open.Click here for more information and find out how to apply.
