    Carer Support Payment will become available in more areas in Scotland during a phased rollout throughout 2024.

    Social Security Scotland are hosting a series of information events in May which will discuss the application process and which clients need to apply.

    Dates and times, with links to register, are below:
     

     
    These events may be of interest to people who provide advice or support to carers, their families and people they care for. Social Security Scotland welcomes carer support organisations, Welfare Rights Advisors, Health and Social Care staff and advocacy organisations to attend.
     
    Carer Support Payment provides £76.75 a week to eligible carers. Carers can also get extra support from Carer’s Allowance Supplement. More information is available at mygov.scot/carer-support-payment.
