    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

Heritage Lottery Fund has teamed up with Crowdfunder UK to distribute £125,000 of funding to heritage crowdfunding projects in Scotland, the north-west of England and he south-west of England.

They hope this crowdfunding programme will be used to increase grassroots support and raise funds for a range of heritage projects, large and small.  If you have an idea for a project with a strong heritage focus, you could be eligible for up to £10,000 of extra funding.

The Crowdfunder website allows people to turn their ideas into reality by gaining the support of their crowd.  Thousands of people have used Crowdfunder to successfully raise funds from the community around them.

To unlock your share, the first thing you'll need to do is head over to Crowdfunder and start creating your project.

If you think your project fits the bill, they could give you the equivalent of 25% of your funding target, and you'll be well on your way to giving your community the boost it deserves.
