UK Aid Match Funding Relaunched
Created: 14/11/2016The Department for International Development (DFID) has launched phase two of the UK Aid Match programme for UK based not-for-profit organisations working in eligible countries.
The UK Aid Match programme aims to help UK non-profitmaking organisations change the lives of some of the world’s poorest people by matching public donations to charity appeals with funding from the international development budget.
The second phase of UK Aid Match will build on the success of the current scheme by:
It will do this by match funding public donations to appeals for projects to reduce poverty in developing countries.

Grants of up to £5 million are available for each appeal.
DFID will only match fund public donations which are given in response to the appeal.
The deadline for concept notes is at 5.00pm on Tuesday 31 January 2017.
