To raise awareness of drug overdose prevalence, risk factors, symptoms and effective intervention.
Outcomes
Successful completion of this course will provide:
• Increased knowledge of drug overdose prevalence, risk factors, symptoms and effective intervention
• Information on agencies in Fife for alcohol and drug support, including the provision of Naloxone
• Information on how to respond to individuals affected by, or at risk of, overdose.Who should attend?
Anyone who would like to gain a basic awareness of issues surrounding overdose. This course is particularly aimed at those who work with the public and may come into contact with individuals who may be at risk of overdose.
