New Deadlines Announced for Climate Challenge Fund Development Grants
Created: 09/12/2016The Scottish Government has announced additional deadlines for the Climate Challenge Fund Development Grants scheme which is open to applications from not-for-profit organisations based in Scotland.
The Climate Challenge Fund forms part of the Scottish Government’s Sustainable Action Fund and has awarded £75.7 million worth of grants which support community-led projects which help communities mitigate and adapt to the impact of climate change.
Development grants of up to £1,500 are being made available to support two types of projects:
The development of applications for future climate change projects – applicants must be seeking funding to contribute to the development of a climate action project from any future Climate Challenge Fund grants or from another grant programme.
Peer-to-peer Learning – applicants must be seeking to help their organisation to develop capacity to tackle climate change through peer-to-peer learning.
Not-for-profit, community-led organisations based in Scotland can apply.
The application deadlines are Friday 13 January 2017 and Tuesday 10 February 2017.
