Community Food and Health (Scotland) - Capacity Building Fund
Created: 19/12/2016Community Health and Food (Scotland)'s Capacity Building Fund provides funding to support groups and agencies running food and health activities in Scotland to build the knowledge, skills and expertise they need to help them deliver their activities better.
Grants of up to £500 are available to community groups, voluntary organisations or social enterprises working with people in a low-income community or already involved in running a food and health activity.
The funding can be used for the following:
All or part of the cost of a member of staff, volunteer, or management committee/board member taking part in a capacity building activity (for example a training or learning opportunity); and
All or part of the cost of delivering an in-house capacity building activity for staff, volunteers or management committee/board members.
Applicants must be able to show how funding will build the knowledge, skills and expertise of volunteers, staff or management committee or board members, and demonstrate how this will make a positive difference to their food and health activities.
The deadline for applications is Friday 20 January 2017.
