    Post: Project Manager

    Hours: 30 Hours per week (on a self-employed basis)

    Wage: £10 an hour

    They are looking for a passionate, caring and motivated project manager to support and lead their current teams, in the delivery of a high quality, flexible early learning and childcare experience.

    The task of the project manager is to work alongside sessional staff, planning and organising group activities. Activities include working with staff, volunteers, children, young people and their families. Includes working in an outdoors environment. Work also involves aspects of gardening, planting and growing. Recording of information, budgeting, planning and adhering to legal guidelines is necessary in this post. Team working is vital.

    You must:

    • Have a sound knowledge of the benefits of outdoor experiences for young children
    • Have an understanding of how to extend and develop our outdoor provision
    • Ensure that the day to day management of the organisation complies with the groups policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and national and local current policy

    Applicants' qualifications should be consistent with those required to register as a Manager with SSSC (e.g. BA Childhood Practice or equivalent), consideration will be given to applicants who have experience working within an Early Learning and Childcare setting and show commitment to gaining a relevant qualification. . PVG Scheme Membership is a requirement of this post.
