  • Ministry of Defence - Covenant Fund

    Created: 28/06/2017
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

    The Armed Forces Covenant sets out the relationship between the nation, the government and the armed forces. The Covenant Fund supports the Armed Forces Covenant by funding projects which address specific priorities.

    This strand supports proposals for:

    • projects or initiatives which will establish and share best practice in delivering the Covenant by implementing activities such as the training of frontline staff across all local authorities in the cluster, and embedding those improvements into their main stream services;
    • kickstarting or piloting new drop-in information centres or ‘one-stop-shop’ venues where any member of the wider ‘military family’ can visit to get information or advice;
    • support to benefit from dedicated, focused media and communications training and advice, to include digital production and social media skills, and to be delivered through external training courses with follow-up expert support.

    Next deadline: 02 October 2017.
