    Salary: £11.18 per hour

    The purpose of the job is to be responsible for placing and assisting unemployed clients into employment or training, including the provision of an aftercare service to selected clients and employers. In addition, to undertake marketing and business development to employers, to obtain suitable job vacancies for clients.

    The main duties and responsibilities will be:

    1. Provide job/vacancy guidance and job broking service tailored to meet the individual needs of every participant.
    2. To manage clients’ job expectations, working on a one-to-one and group basis.
    3. To actively manage a client caseload and work to monthly targets and achievements.
    4. To develop strong working relationships with relevant partners and Jobcentre Plus staff (maintaining good levels of communication). This will include attending presentations from partners onsite and /or undertaking regular visits and delivering presentations to raise awareness of DEAP LTD services.
    5. Marketing services to and building up strong business relationships with employers.
    6. Marketing services to unemployed people to encourage active engagement.
    7. Provision of accurate reports and maintenance of statistical records which comply with funders’ obligations including other administration duties.
    8. To maintain client files as per DEAP LTD data protection policy.
    9. Maintain good communication levels with other DEAP LTD project staff to identify client employment opportunities with local businesses. 
    10. Provision of aftercare service to enhance post placement sustainability.
    11. Maintain a strong knowledge of local labour market information (LLMI) and attend local community events.
    12. Develop and contribute to the Employer Marketing Strategy.
    13. Arrange employer visits, cold calling and research the labour market to identify suitable vacancies that match client skills.
    14. Accurate input and update of relevant client data to FORT.
    15. Any other reasonable duties which may be assigned from time to time.

    Additional responsibilities will include ensuring that compliance for company policies is maintained at all times, particularly health and safety. 

    The successful candidates will require a PVG check, (paid for by DEAP Ltd).
