The Fife IPS Partnership is seeking an Employment Specialist using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach, working in partnership with Fife Employment Access Trust, NHS Fife, Fife Health & Social Care Partnership, Department of Work & Pensions and Capability Scotland, and with clients with severe and enduring mental health problems across Fife. This is an innovative project which started in April 2015 and is funded currently to 31 December 2018 by Opportunities Fife and the European Social Investment Fund.
The successful candidate will proactively manage a caseload of individuals who have experienced mental health problems who are unemployed and/or currently off work. You will deliver the Individualised Placement and Support (IPS) approach evidence-based model of vocational rehabilitation for people with enduring mental health problems. Working directly with all relevant stakeholders: the individual, NHS Fife, Fife Council, GPs, employers, colleges, Job Centre Plus and Occupational Health to enable individuals to gain and retain employment. You will be part of an enthusiastic dynamic team offering an inclusive, non-judgmental approach to support, and empower people to flourish by managing their mental health for life.
