Up to £35,000 available for projects that help people in disadvantaged communities build their financial capability or to start or develop a new business.
The fund will support organisations that help people in disadvantaged communities to develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to help themselves, specifically in the areas of financial capability and enterprise. They will focus specifically on projects that help people to start or develop a new business, now or in the future, as well as on projects that help people to become financially capable. They would like to fund a diverse geographical spread of projects throughout Scotland, in line with the fund priorities of developing enterprise and financial capability, which demonstrate a measurable social impact in the most disadvantaged communities. The deadline for applications is 22 September 2017.
