Provides grants to disorder-specific charities to fund projects and support services. Grants bring together families affected by very rare genetic disorders so that they can create their own support networks; provide specialist equipment; offer respite breaks to children who are carers for parents of a condition they might inherit; and pay for specialist nurses and key workers The group must have a child protection policy in place. The deadline for applications is 30 September 2017.
