Buses laid on from 17 September 2017 for Amazon Christmas period recruitment drive
Created: 12/09/2017, Updated: 13/09/2017Following engagement with DWP, Fife Council and Skills Development Scotland, Amazon have agreed to provide buses which will make it easier for people in Fife to get to and from the Amazon warehouse in Dunfermline. The recruitment agencies PMP and Adecco are also hosting locally based recruitment sessions in various locations across Fife. Download: Amazon Recruitment Checklist
Whilst some job seekers may rule out short term opportunities like this one, there are clear benefits in being able to evidence willingness, turn up on time and stick at a job that can be demanding at times - these can make a big difference when approaching other employers and applying for more permanent positions.
DWP have been contacted by both Adecco and PMP to highlight the bus routes which will become available from 17 September 2017. Other bus routes in Fife are still to be confirmed.
The bus routes are as follows – bus stops will be confirmed with Amazon at the recruitment events listed below.
