Hours: 30 per week
Salary: £24,878 (pro rata)
Fife Women’s Aid is looking to recruit a Support Worker for their CYP team.
The successful applicant will provide emotional and practical support to Children and Young People who have experienced domestic abuse. Knowledge of Child Protection and Domestic Abuse is essential. Applicants will be educated to at least SVQ level 3 or equivalent in childcare or other relevant subject and have at least 2 years’ experience of providing services to vulnerable young people.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and have the ability to work as part of a team. They will also have a passion for improving the lives of women and children who have experienced abuse. The post will be based in Glenrothes and will involve travel across all areas of Fife. Applicants will be subject to a PVG check.
